Founder
With over 25 years’ experience as a professional chef, Gorilla Eats co-founder Sia Faiyaz has always specialised in mixing flavours to create unique and tasty dishes. His flair for taking the best of worldwide cuisines and turning them into unique and flavoursome dishes led to him deciding to leave the corporate restaurant world and open up his own artisan food stall at Bolton market where he could experiment and push the boundaries. Soon Sia found his niche creating unique toasted sandwiches representing different cuisines from across the world. The word of his sandwiches soon spread and Sia expanded, taking his sandwiches on the road across Manchester’s Artisan Market scene – BBQ Events Company was born.

Passing his love of flavours to his daughter Rachel, father and daughter soon decided that in addition to their successful Artisan sandwich business they wanted to work on setting up a truly exclusive takeaway business that brought the street food concept to your home. Gorilla Eats offers a wide variety menu that expands on the BBQ concept that has proven so successful across Manchester’s markets. Mixing flavours from different worldwide foods, you no longer need to pick a takeaway based purely on cuisine, instead you can now do it based purely on flavour.
